Is home-based kids physio actually effective?

Our 6-year-old has mild developmental delays, and we’ve been going to a clinic for months but haven’t seen much change. It’s stressful trying to manage sessions around school and work, and he doesn’t seem engaged during them anyway. I came across paediatric physio gold coast and the idea of therapy at home sounds like it might work better. Anyone tried this and seen actual improvement?

I think for kids, especially those with developmental delays, comfort and familiarity are just as important as the therapy itself. When they’re relaxed, they’re more open to trying new things. You can have the best therapist, but if the child is anxious or distracted, it won’t work. That’s why home sessions can be such a game changer—they lower the emotional barrier.
